Waxing

The Mobile Beautician offers mobile waxing treatments in your choice of location in and around Bury, Greater Manchester. Eliminating the hassle of booking and travelling to salons, you can enjoy your very own waxing treatment in the privacy and comfort of your own home. Waxing removes hairs from the root, which ensures a longer grow back time when compared to shaving. With shaving, hairs are cut close to skin level. However, even with a very close shave, hairs will reappear within a matter of days.

Benefits of Waxing

  • Less regrowth between appointments
  • Waxing removes hair and exfoliates the skin, leading to improved skin texture
  • Hair grows back progressively finer and sparser
  • Better for those with skin irritation and allergies
  • No cuts, scarring and reduced risk of bruising and skin damage
  • Stubble-free skin

Important

Before the wax is applied, make sure you have clean, freshly washed skin. Oily skin can prevent the wax from adhering, leaving behind some stray hairs. Don’t exfoliate for 24 to 48 hours prior to your waxing appointment to avoid skin irritation. It’s recommended to gently exfoliate with a mild scrub, brush or mitt to remove dead skin cells that surround the hair follicles. Mild exfoliation helps loosen existing ingrown hairs and improved waxing results.
